We decided to avoid upcoming predicted thunderstorms, so took this time to travel to Michigan. We just LOVE the back roads and small communities!
Beautiful valleys, mountains...we scooted up on the west side of Virginia and Pennsylvania, into Ohio.
Discovered the town of Berkeley Springs, WV...where there were 'soothing' warm springs, although we did not indulge. Quaint town!
At Berkeley Springs...
Diverted off the highway to a historic village outside Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, it wasn't open.
