On our way to conference in Columbus, OH... the Smokey Mountain National Park's through road put us into the two tourist meccas of Gatlinburg, TN, and Dolly Parton's home stomping grounds of Pigeon Forge, TN - we were absolutely amazed at the summer Saturday crowds in both venues - the economy seemed to be doing just 'hunky-dorey' here! Enjoyed many more of America's back roads!
